Two of my kids had cradle cap as infants - one terribly badly, including in her eyebrows!
I agree with Missy - we used baby oil on the scalp too, left it on overnight, and then used the baby brush in circular motion to loosen it, and then washed it out. It took us a week to get rid of it with the first girl, and close to two with the girl that had it more badly. It's not pretty, is it!? But it's harmless, and passes quickly.
Enjoy your little one -- my youngest is now 6, and the oldest is 18 - I miss the baby times! I even miss washing their hair - something that I never thought I'd miss, but find myself a little sad when my 6 and 7 year olds tell me they're too old to need help!
