From experience I have discovered that the best treatment was to apply a small amount of water and a small amount of baby shampoo to the scalp and using the BABY BRUSH gently use a circular motion to wash his scalp. Rinse well. *Baby Magic* Shampoo tends to work better than Johnson's brand but I am not sure why. Dry his head throughly with a soft towel ( do not use the dryer
) and apply a small amount of Baby Magic baby oil; brush thru scalp and let it stay at least overnight. The oil is lighter than Vaseline and coats the scalp easier and without gumming up the baby's hair. It takes appox. 7-10 days to go away. Hope this idea works for you; it did for us....MissyM
