Hi Nicole,
We have located an agency within MN that handles interstate adoption from the Waiting Child lists. They are SUMMIT adoptions. They also do homestudies. While adopting an infant across state lines seems to be no biggee, as soonas the child gets on that "waiting children list" there is hell to pay from that point on!
I have been doing some reading on
www.adoptuskids.com and once a homestudy is complete, you can register on their site. This allows you to contact the social worker of a child you may be interested in. With any luck, between them and your agency, the adoption process my work.
I wish you the best of luck. Keep me posted if your interested.
