I am sorry to hear that your husband isn't doing well. That must be very difficult. The situation with the baby who you tried to adopt sounds like it was a difficult loss as well. When did that happen? Your homestudy may not be valid still. I think that if you have a major life changing event which will happen soon (i.e. the death of your spouse) the agency may want you to wait and take care of yourself first. If you have a pasion in your heart to be a mother again, I'm sure there is a child for you. Just take your time, and deal with your homelife first. You are going through so much right now, and an adopted child will need all of your attention for awhile. The timing will work out if it is meant to be. Hang in there, and contact your homestudy agency if you are really serious and ready to parent a child again. I wish you the best of luck.
