This is a great thread. People are always asking me why there are more boys available for adoption in Guatemala. So this is fun to see why people have preferences, if they do.

We requested a girl because we have two bio boys and a bio girl and really wanted the experience of parenting another girl plus the opportunity for our daughter to have a sister relationship in her life. That's how we were matched with Londy.

For our second adoption we have no preference. Mainly because we're even on the boy/girl front again at the house. Baby number 5 will be our tie breaker. So I'm assuming we'll be having a boy. I guess that's not necessarily true, but more likely. It's exciting not knowing!
