I love, love, love Maya Wraps, I used to have an Over the shoulder baby holder and it just wasn't the same for me. The Maya is much lighter and very versatile. I still have 2 of them and love them. They do take some getting used to and if your child is an older infant they might fuss some at the beginning because they are not used to being held like that. Don't despair if you persist the child will learn to enjoy it. My 4 year old still brings it to me everyonce in a while when she is tired and sleepy.

The maya takes practice and the video is a lot of help, get the video if you can (it should come included with the price of the sling, at least they used to ) What you want to make sure of is tthat the sling is nice and tight, or else the child will lean and pull on your back and shoulders and that causes pain.

If you do decide on one I'll be glad to give you pointers, I used to sell them and can't wait to get my sweet baby boy so I can use it again. My youngest used it all the time past 2 years old, it is a great tool.

Good luck

Strenght does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
