I love talking about adoption , just give me and open and you'll have to shut me up. I just finished my adoption certification classes and am awaiting the home study. It has to be completed within 60 days due to state regulations for the program I'm in. I'm going to be adopting a daughter between the ages of 6-14 from the foster care system. I'm single so I will be her mom and dad I suppose. I'll be 40 in June.
She will be my first/only child. I have lots of experience working with kids as a child psychologist, but I was always able to give them back at then end of the 50 minute hour. I'm from Pennsylvania. Guess that's about it.
