The first 6 columns seem to represent the hospital and county codes. Thanks for the brainstorm on the P code! That's an idea I hadn't thought of
I called the organization that put the stats together, and THEY didn't even know what it stood for. As far as we have figured out, it is a hospital that no longer exists. Figures...lol. They forwarded my request to Vital Statistics in Raleigh, and I haven't heard anything from them. In the meantime, thought, I hired a p.i. and I got a call last night that they found my birthmom....in 1 day! I'm so excited! Good luck with your search!
