Is yours an Adoption-friendly company?
I'm a mom-2-b, waiting (not v.patiently!) to adopt a newborn. My company benefits entitle me to one week's paid leave. And there is a small cash sum toward adoption fees. If I was to have a child biologically, I would be entitled to eight weeks paid maternity leave. (And an additional four unpaid!)
I wondered what benefits other folks out there in snowy WI get? Are there any companies who treat maternity and adoption leave equally? I'm trying to get some examples together to help my company re-look at the current program.
