I have been doing some research in several different counties. What I am noticing, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the volume numbers on the books at the ROD, correspond with the birth certificate number, RIGHT.....followed by, what I've noticed, is actually a page number in that volume....are you with me here?
Well the 4 differents counties I've been to have different volume numbers. I too am wondering if it's possible to determine what county you were born in by the birth certificate number. Folks this is just an observation and if anyone knows more about this that me, please, inform us. If you're interested in finding out more, please respond.
