My son was in an orphanage in Cuenca.He was adopted by an American family but when they returned to the states, they had personal problems and had to give him up for adoption. We where the first people they called(The social worker)because they knew we didn't have the funds, as of yet, and to make a long story short, we became parents
We missed out on visiting Ecuador but when our son is of age, we plan to travel there and have all of us experience the visit
We went through Alliance for Children in Massachusetts and they were great!.....Betty
