No we haven't looked into adoption before. We started looking sometime in December. I just figured if we wanted to get started we could get the home study done and then be placed in other agencies. Then when CC starts there next orientation which sounds like it won't be for awhile then we could just give them a homestudy that was already done. Oh well I will just call and ask them. I have called some other local agencies here and they seem to take 4-6 months for the home study. Yikes ... that is also a long time.
I think that is a nice idea about making a quilt while you wait. What a gift for your new baby. Hmm ... you got me thinking that maybe I will have to start something. I now how to embroider (spelling?)
Are you looking to adopt a girl or boy or either? Are you planning to adopt cacausion or other ethnic backgrounds? Good luck on the waiting part. Did they say approximately how long you may be waiting?
