Hi Everyone, I am moving in a few weeks. Same town. Our court order says that we have to notify each other within 24 hours of new address and phone numbers. I have no idea where he is. I haven't spoke to him in about 8 months. He doesn't pay child support and has lost all visitation due to drugs. All the phone numbers I have for him are disconnected and he has moved away from all the addresses I have had. Here is the deal, my husband and I want him to adopt my daughter. In 4 months I can file for abandonment and have that happen. I don't want my moving to mess that up because he doesn't know the new address since I can't find him. Do you think I should do a publication in the newspaper or something saying to contact me at my work for the new info? I have worked at the same place for 6 years and he does know the number here. What do you think?
