Do you have to have two attorneys for a private adoption?

Hi all,
My husband and I are just getting involved in a private adoption with a 19 year old girl in Ohio. So far she has been extremely supportive and cooperative with us. She is due in 4 months. She has said she does not feel like she needs or wants an attorney eventhough we would be paying for it. If we have a competent attorney and the birthmother does not care, can we finalize the adoption with only one attorney.
