Thanks for answering....my husband and I have wanted to be parents since we met...we have several friends who have adopted and it swells our hearts to see the difference it can make in a child's life to have a family to love them. As you can tell from my user name the only mom I have been so far is to my wonderful two yellow labrador retreivers...
We love children and are around them all the time, 3 neices, 2 nephews and another on the way...always an aunt & uncle, not a mom & dad...that is what we want to experience..the only thing keeping us from moving forward is the cost of the adoption and our financial situation. It scares us to death to think of being denied and never getting to love our own child.
It makes me feel better to read your responses and now I have some hope that its not impossible for us after all.
