I have read so many times that you can do the stepparent adoption yourself without a lawyer. I have the form for voluntary relinquishment of parental rights. If I can find **, she will sign it. I know the costs to file that with the courts, no prob. What I still need is the paperwork we will need for the adoption. If anyone has any links or info to share, I would greatly appreciate it. I know we can hire an attorney but funds are low and we do not want to delay this any longer. We need to do this the most inexpensive way possible. Please help if you can. Thanks.
