I'm so glad that my post helped someone. I know it's tough...on both sides. Adoption is supposed to be a wonderful and beautiful thing...but we never seem to think of the child when they are going through life wondering where exactly they came from, and where the fit in. Someone, all adoptees always feel like they are missing something from their lives...I've met very, very few who don't.
I guess it's one of those things you have to look at the whole journey and not just the day of reunion. Get the most you can out of all of it.
