DH has been wanting a new camera for a while now. The last camera we got was before we went to China (4 years ago) and it was an OK camera, but it takes about 3.5 seconds to take a picture. Usually, we would have to shuffle thru the pictures and take out half of them because 3.5 seconds is a LONG time with an active kiddo. A lot of pictures were of the back of her head before.
We finally broke down and got a
Canon EOS Rebel T1i My only regret is that we did not do this much sooner. The pictures are phenomenal in quality, and the picture takes less than a half second to take. There's even a mode to take multiple pictures at once...for those super fast kids in motion.
No more red eye, which we almost always had to fix before, with our DDs dark brown eyes. And inside quality is just as good as outside quality. I only wish we would have gotten this a week earlier before DDs birthday!
Now we have to save for beter lenses. I heard those can get expensive....More expensive than the camera itself.
Here's a sample of messing around with the close up mode-with the standard stock lens that came with the camera.
