All I can say is that I have been dealing with the EXACT same problem. Met my half brother when I was 18 and now I am almost 40. We were then kept apart all these years. We found each other on facebook last week and have talked. We were kept apart because he knew who my father is... it is my uncle! So if I wasn't already messed up enough, i really am now. Be careful what you wish for. They are big Catholic people and all along I thought it was a priest or something and that is why no one would tell me.
