Red face

We were not chosen for the 3 year old, but they really wanted to consider us for the sib group. We decided to opt out for the sib group because the oldest one needs a daycare that can handle behaviors and does not have a lot of teacher transition. I called to a few places and they could not provide what he needed. I do not have the option to stay home, so we had to do what was right for him and for us. It sucks. I am so ready to have forever children, but it has to be right. We are not looking for perfect children, but what is perfect for us. We could have parented the sib group, but I don't want to parent just to be a parent. I know that the right child(ren) are being prepared for us and we are being prepared for them. But it still hurts knowing that we could have had forever children, but it wasn't the right time. What I am going to do is to start researching more daycares in my area, so I can have more knowledge about the programs. There is a 5 year old in another state that I called about and the worker is going to contact my worker. So the search continues. At least we now have the experience of a 15 panel staffing and they will keep our homestudy for future considerations. So that is good.

Good luck for everyone else in the waiting game. I tell you. If I don't have patience by the end of this process, then I will never obtain it.
