I agree with DianeS..I'd also like to add that you could very well get a young child or toddler domestically if you are open to adopting a sibling group...
I have seen several children under the age of 5 that are part of sibling groups...and they normally will not break up a group unless there is a very large number of children involved....
I am also looking into adopting a child that isn't disabled but I know my limitations as a single person...there isn't anything wrong with letting them know what you are looking for...there are several children that will be available for adoption that meets your criteria...
