I can totally relate ... DD is 4 1/2 and has been doing the "watch me" for a long time now. She is very athletic so she is doing cartwheels / splits / flips over the furniture... etc. I am really proud of her but after the 1000th cartwheel it isn't as exciting or interesting to watch. And I am sure I look like an awful Mom cause I just deadpan say .. ."that is great sweetie" for the 1000th time back!

But she is also a "PLANNER" -- MAJOR planner and has to know what we are doing next , after school, b4 bed etc and I get those questions of the order of activities non-stop. But like Gs_Mom said, if I ask her to tell me what I said we were doing, she normally can and that does slow down the inquiry. But this is a DAILY conversation.
