My daughter is multi racial and also has fine curly hair. She is now 6 and if her hair is wet is is almost to her tush. She loves her hair long and loves to do different styles with it. We do trim it up about every 6 months. I also bought the book Curly Girls which gives good information on how to care for her hair.
