Congratulations on your adoption. We've been home nearly 9 months now after adopting our son from Shaanxi province.
He is our first child. I have not read the book, and it sounds interesting, but it also sounds dated, as so many books since late 2005 have become when it pertains to China adoptions.
Our guide had not had too much experience with families adopting boys, and she had been a guide for a while, so I think a lot has changed since 2005, when the wait started to slow down.
We had a wonderful experience in China.
If we can answer any specific questions we would be glad to do so.
