I am pretty sure with recalls you don't need a receipt...you just might not get as much as you paid for it. I've found that companies that are handling recalls are very fair with pricing though. Babies R us instituted their own "recall" on BPA bottles and I had tons and tons of bottle that I had bought used on e-bay, and then just boiled and bought new nipples. I told them I didn't really care what I got for them, cause I didn't buy them new, and they still gave me full price on all of them. We ended up with over $100 store credit for bottles that we might have paid about $10 for! I have bottles coming out my ears. So if Babies R Us sells the crib you have, I would suggest going there Call before you go and see if they have more information!

Good Luck. I need to get out to the garage and see if our spare crib is one of the recalls, but I can't get to it! I know Ty's crib isn't.

As a side note, I've heard they are going to make all drop down sides illegal...has anyone heard more about that?
