My situation is alot different then yours. But you need to have an attorney, and she needs to have a different attorney. She needs to go through therapy before this ever happens. Saying it and doing it are two different things. It was hard for me to give my child to her doctor for checkups at birth...! Im not trying to discourage you, but relative adoptions are VERY difficult. Mine was CPS involved so it was open shut...bio parents have not contact period. But in your case you will see your sil ... how will she handle it? you? the child as it gets older? there are alot of things to think about...!
