I have cosidered doing it for my daughter because she had a stroke. I just spoke at length with a doc at the National Institute of Health whose opinion I trust about HB treatment. She said she thought it was worth a try because it certainly was not dangerous or bad for you. The theory is that being super oxygenated gets O2 to areas of the brain and body where it was not making it before, arguably "waking up" areas that had gone dormant. I can't quite imagine how it would be helpful for seizures. Actually, I can see how it would activate an area of the brain that was sending out a bad electrical signal because it was not getting enough O2. THey are usually not covered by insurance is my understanding but one parent was telling me, it is only about $50 a treatment and you don't need a ton of them. I'd try it. I would also make sure your nuero is trying new (as in so new you can't get a generic) seizure meds. I find that lots of nuero's don't really keep up with the newest drugs. See what kind of meds he is on also. THat diet is really hard to follow, just so you are aware.
