Well, first, Yes Domperidone is safe. Yes, it is transwerred through your milk in small quantities, but smaller than a safe dose to give directly to a newborn baby. Whether or not you feel comfortable taking it is up to you. doctors are not the be all end all of knowledge, yet I understand someone not being comfortable not having their guidance. Milk production can be very different one baby to the next, so that doesn't mean you can or can't breastfeed...and breastfeeding is more than milk anyway. Only certain BC pills are recommended...and I don't know if you have the right types. I didn't use BC pills though. You can pump a lot or just sort of prime the pump so to speak and pump when you can. You will be less likely to get a full supply that way...but you can try. Why can you not pump at work? Just curious.
