We are green card holders and are planning to start the Citizenship process very soon. Assuming it takes 6 months to get the Citizenship. Can I start my homestudy and the approval ready? Pros/Cons? Bottom line I don't want to lose anytime and wanted to start a little early.

1. citizenship
2. Homestudy
3. I don't remember the approval form 600??
4. The Adoption agency/internal contact searching for the kid
5. Travel to India
6. See the child and check on the medical procedures
7. Bring back to US and get the child adopted during the entry to USA right?
