Hi Guys!
Everything went well, I wasn't even nervous! I didn't cry, she didn't cry, but her Mom did when she spoke of the death of my son. Heartwrenching.

My Granddaughter couldn't take her eyes off me. She wanted to compare hands, feet, noses, etc...it was so cute.

It's going to be a while before we're close. She's got a lot to process, and that's ok. I could sense a little hostility on her part, but I understand.

She kinda has that "he's not here and you are!" thing going on. She needs time. She kept telling me how much I looked like her Dad. It was obvious she loved her Dad very much.

Wish me luck in the future! I think it will be ok.

She's such a smart and pretty girl!
