I think I asked this before but I'm brain dead right now. I am close to discussing the post adoption agreement with our SW. We will be placing our baby on our private medical insurance post adoption. But I really want Medi-cal as a backup. Is that possible? If so, how does that work? Say for prescriptions, can I have my private insurance pay for it and then have medical cover the $20 copay or does it not work that way?

Also, is there anything I should be aware of in the "negotiations"? We were really just hoping for the minimum stipend and medi-cal. She's fairly healthy but was drug exposed.
