The reason our adoption hasn't taken long is because we accepted the referral of a waiting child who is between 10-11 years old. She's been waiting for two years to find a family.
Infant adoptions take much longer because there's a waiting list. Families are waiting a long time to be matched with infant girls.
We are just hoping to pass court before closures.
