Stepfather adoption
Hello, I am new to this site. I'm getting married next month and my fiancée has a 2 year old daughter I would like to adopt when we marry. The father is not on birth certificate and he does not pay child support, all he does is call once a month to speek to the daughter. He went to another country before she was born and my question is how do I go about doing a stepfather adoption in this case, I live in North Carolina and any help would be deepley appreciated.
