Last year the squirrels got EVERYTHING. So this year I did some things different and basically they don't have access to the garden.
Today I planeted a bunch of things in pots - flowers, herbs, and onions. I read that onions keep them away. And then I covered them all with chickenwire so the squirrels can't get them while they're growing.
I know it's late in the season to be planting these things, so we'll just see what happens. The kids like to see things grow and they love watching the squirrels and birds so we have feeders for them...
