Do be aware that the CCAA does NOT approve of these sorts of contacts, prior to an adoption. Your adoption agency can request updated information, which may or may not be forthcoming, but you are not supposed to contact the orphanage directly or through a translator. After you are home with your child, that's a different story.
In addition, there may be some conflict with Hague Convention rules about contacts with orphanages. You do not want to do anything that could potentially jeopardize your adoption.
