DH came home yesterday telling me that his sister is pregnant and was thinking of terminating the pregnancy, but their other sister told her off and reminded her that we have been going thru a lot trying to have a child (we've lost 3 children during pregnancy, so far, none living), so she asked us if we wanted to adopt her baby. She's only 6-8 wks along, but she doesn't want the baby, she's a single mom of a 3 yr old and is only 25. She cannot afford another baby, so she thought we'd make great parents to her baby.

I just don't know what to do, or how to go about this. I live in California. I have a phone consult with an attorney on Thursday, but anyone BTDT who could share with me what you did?
