What reasons do they give for an alarm? and do they mean on the bedroom door or exterior doors?
I can understand an alarm on exterior doors,or for kids that need to be isolated at night due possible harm to others in the house(yikes!), or those that are a flight risk. With younger kids I have a lock too high for them to reach to unlock the door at night.
