I'm so sorry that you have been waiting so long.

It helped me to view all the delays as "This must be happening for a reason. I just have to wait b/c my baby is not ready for me yet."

As an adoptive parent, I know that my kids were always meant to be mine. Therefore all of the infertility, delays in paperwork, failed adoptions and all the other stressors in creating my family were God's way of having me learn patience (which is always needed in parenting) and to have me wait for "MY" child b/c they just weren't ready yet.
