Just remember that it's YOUR profile. It should be how you want it and say what you want to say. Your baby will find you. Agencies don't always know best...Many people told us to take pictures and comments of our dogs out of our profile because many women did not like them...especially women in the south, which is where we would likely be matched because we were hoping for an AA placement. We refused because our dogs are part of our life, and it was important to us not to hide that. In the end, Ty's bmom chose us after we had been waiting a whopping 6 weeks...because we had dogs. She wanted him raised in a home with animals.
Be yourself, not who the agency wants you to be. I think part of the reason that many emom's have a hard time choosing is because some agencies make all the couples look and do their profiles the same!
Waiting is hard. I'm a control freak too...you control what you can, and otherwise you just find things to do to pass the time. I used to obsess a lot on situations posted on line
