I probably have little to offer - as Robin's experience would be way more helpful. Our neighbor has CF (11 years old)...I know that there are swings in his quality of life. LOADS of medication daily - but his family believes firmly in letting him 'do his thing' - he's a great athlete and participates fully at school. There are times when he's out for weeks at the hospital. It's hard on his mom and dad...just so hard to see your kiddo sick.
