Nice to know I am not the only one...and I am not a fussy person so it aggravates all personalities types.
I will pick up clothes around the house for my peace of mind, socks, jackets etc, but will not pick up his clothes that he always leaves on the floor in the bedroom.
When he says 'I'm out of work socks, shirts, etc' I ask if he picked up his clothes and took the laundry basket downstairs...then I sigh and go back to what I was doing before, (hiding my smile) and he then has to figure out what he can wear to work that day. It keeps him on track for a bit and then we do a repeat performance of the above scenario so he 'remembers' again for a little while.
