Hello,
My husband and I have had custody of my distant cousin for 5 1/2 years. It took us over a year to get custody between 2-states, a battle with a contested adoption, living heck from the biological mom, and finally.... we went to court this morning and we finalized. The judge signed and we finally made it to the other side. WE HAVE A SON, OFFICIALLY!!!
I just wanted everyone to know that sometimes things don't always work out the first time, but it can still happen.
