Before my mom had the surgery that paralyzed her in November she was going to the senior center almost everyday during the week. Her reason for starting to do that was my telling her I was going to put her in adult daycare because I needed a break from her and she found her OWN way to give me a break.
RIght now she's so scared to go anywhere even now that she has her power chair because she's afraid to have something going wrong (like a birthmom or getting dizzy) and not having me there to take care of her.
So, if she goes to the senior center I have to go with her and therefor he's not a break for me. It's a mess!
