Depression?
I was reading a little on this country and one of the restrictions is no history of depression.
Depression comes in several forms and reasons. Do they take this into consideration?
I developed depression not too long ago. My grandfather that I was very close to died, 3 weeks later I gave birth to my son but the delivery was traumatic, then my foster daughter of 2yrs was returned to her bio-parents all within a matter of 3 months.... then the holidays hit and found out my husband was going to be laid off from work.
... so, I developed depression they classified as Post Partum Depression with Anxiety. It is well maintained on medication and I'll likely be weaned off the medication in the next few months.
Does Kazakhstan rule out depression of this sort or is it Major Depressive Disorders they intend to rule out?
The reason we are considering this country is one of our exchange students was from Kazakhstan and just down the street there is a sibling group that was adopted from Kazakhstan so we feel between these two resources we have supports in place to help through cultural transitions.
