Hi Vicnric,
I completely know how it feels to have loved ones say "don't get your hopes up." But the truth is, it's impossible... adoption is a beautiful, challenging journey.
But as I type this, I am holding my 1 month old son who is more perfect than I ever could have imagined.
God definitely chose him for us. My moto through the adoption process was fight, faith, prayer. It's worth it. Good luck.
