I'm going through the intermediary process and have felt a little skeptical about how my birth mother will react (I've thought she'll react similarly to your birth father) because she kept her pregnancy a secret from everyone until she was 7 mo. along and then only her parents, the birth father & his parents knew (not even her siblings!) because she was sent off to a maternity home (..or "boarding school") but your post gives me a little more encouragement!
