experiences with school/teachers
We've had our children home a year and a half. What are your experiences with school, ESL/ELL teachers, ESL/ELL programs, grade placement at arrival, progress levels . . .
What do you do for the summer? do you try to do workbooks, use tutors or lessons to continue to close the gap between where they are and what is average/benchmark for their age and/or ability?

07/15/05 application to agency enter in state infant adoption process
01/18/07 first agency closes infant adoption program
02/10/07 signed on with international agency to adopt from Poland
02/20/07 signed on with new local agency to reissue home study
04/11/07 reissued home study submitted to state
06/06/07 received referral of what would become our three children
10/14/07 first trip to Poland to meet children. We were with the children for 21 days, to meet the requirements of the children's home region.
12/03/07 second trip to Poland to bring children home
12/13/07 landed on US soil with our three children, boy 6, boy 7, and girl 9.
