Hi All! We have been scheduled to meet our little girl on an initial trip. Apparently the region she is in requires that. We are thrilled that we will be able to meet her on April 20th!!
The only bummer will be that we will only have a few days and then we will have to come home until they can schedule the court date and such.
Has anyone done this first initial trip? I'm just curious about others' experiences.
Also, we don't know exactly where she is (although she was born in Chorzow, not too far from Katowice), but what was travel to the region like? Do they usually take you by train?
Last question - what can you bring for the child on this first trip? I am planning on bringing some clothes (if for nothing else we hope we can find out what sizes she is wearing), and we would like to leave a plush photo album that has a couple of pictures in it and maybe a stuffed toy or something. Do you think we can leave a few things like that for her?
