I agree with Heather; working with an agency that has multiple programs (that you would be comfortable changing to if necessary) is a good move. We switched from Russia to Kaz and it was a smooth transition since it was the same agency. There is prolonged travel and you will need to have the "go with the flow" attitude while traveling. Some positives are that you can bond with your child on their turf, see your child's birthcountry and experience living in it, and take back with you a sense of history that you can share with your child.
