In domestic adoption, you can choose between working with licensed agencies, attorneys and facilitators. Please do thorough research on what agencies/attorneys/facilitators are (you may search this forum) so you can make informed decisions. Lifetime is NOT a licensed adoption agency as the OP stated, they are a facilitator.
